This cookbook is a collection of family favorite recipes from here in the Maritimes and around the world. The recipes in this cookbook were carefully selected, not just because they are delicious, but because they each have helped bring families together to create wonderful memories.
Every recipe has a story behind it. From Stephanie Dugas’s grandmother’s Beer Sausage recipe she made every Christmas, to Gina Chiarella’s Italian Sunday Gravy recipe that became one of the only meals her father would eat as his Alzheimer’s progressed.
With over 12,000 New Brunswickers living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, nearly everyone is touched by this disease, whether it be a relative, a friend, a member of the community, or themselves. By purchasing Memories from the Kitchen, you are helping to ensure support is available to them and that they do not have to face the dementia journey alone.
This cookbook is available for $20, and all proceeds support programs & services for people living with dementia and their families in New Brunswick.
